The earthquake of 30 September 2025 damaged the Hagnaya wharf, and parts of it now sit lower. On 28 March 2026 the Cebu Port Authority announced that it suspends loading during high tide, so passengers do not have to walk through water. Your ferry can be delayed.

The tile on the home page shows today’s high tide times near Hagnaya. They come from a weather model (Open-Meteo), not from an official tide table – use them as a rough guide, not for navigation.

Storms and strong wind can stop ferries in any month; storm and wind patterns suggest allowing extra time from November to February. The Coast Guard may suspend small boats while bigger ferries sail “with caution”. Trips can be cancelled without notice.

We never write “the ferry is running” without proof. If in doubt, ask at the port counter or your resort.
