Hagnaya to Santa Fe ferry.
Short answer: Two companies, Island Shipping and Super Shuttle Ferry, run RoRo ferries between Hagnaya port (San Remigio, Cebu) and Santa Fe on Bantayan Island. The crossing takes about one hour. Trips start early in the morning; travel guides give the last departure from Hagnaya as 4:30 or 5:30 PM, so confirm the last trip at the port. Buy your ticket in cash at the port counter.

Check before you go. Sources disagree on the last trips: travel guides give the last departure from Hagnaya as 4:30 or 5:30 PM. Cebu Insider also lists a 7:30 PM Island Shipping departure from Santa Fe to Hagnaya; not confirmed at the port. Since the 2025 earthquake, Hagnaya port may pause loading at high tide (see tides).

Fares after the May 2026 reduction (mytv.ph – Bantayan ferry fares go down). Plus a terminal fee of about ₱20–25 at Hagnaya (reported by travellers) and an eco fee of about ₱30 per person when you arrive in Santa Fe (travel guides, 2026).
Tips
- Buy at the counter, in cash. Discounted tickets for students, seniors and PWD are not sold online – for Super Shuttle at port counters and accredited outlets.
- Printed e-ticket. If you book online with Super Shuttle (Barkota), a printed copy is required.
- Be early. Waiting and boarding can add about 30 minutes. On holidays and in Holy Week the port is very crowded.
- Delays happen. Delays of one to two hours have been reported. Tell your resort if you are picked up.
- Other routes: Kawit port (Medellin) → Santa Fe with Aznar Shipping, and Cadiz (Negros) → Santa Fe with Balt-Bep. Times changed several times in 2026 – check locally.
